Notely chats to Sustainable Ecom about building an Australian made stationery brand

  • 1 min read

We're thrilled to share Notely Founder Jenica's chat with Sustainable Ecom podcast where she talks about running a sustainable stationery business.

Hear about Notely's journey to create simple, sustainable stationery in Brisbane, Australia and making choices for the brand to have as little impact on the environment as possible.

Jenica discusses the influence of Julia Cameron's book The Artist's Way on her creative career and how her lifelong love for stationery blossomed into a beautiful business. Collaborating with the Australian artists has truly become one of the best things about Notely.

I wondered if there was a way I could feature all the artists, build their profile and create a really beautiful product that we’re really proud of. And that was the origins of Notely.

We talk about using carbon neutral courier service Sendle and why we minimise packaging to avoid unnecessary wastage. Using recycled papers has been a core part of our product range from Day 1, and Jenica discusses her love for developing the collections and working with artists.
